Armenian

Map of the Armenian language

Armenian (hayeren lezu) is a separate branch of the Indo-European Satem languages, not closely related to any of the other IE languages. Armenian is the official language of Armenia as well as Nagorno-Karabakh (a de facto republic but de jure part of Azerbaijan). The language is also widely spoken by Armenian communities in the Armenian diaspora. There are significant numbers of Armenian speakers in Turkey, Syria, and Lebanon; and smaller numbers in other countries of the Middle East. Ref: UCLA Language Materials Project, Ethnologue, Wikipedia
