Cornish

Map of the Cornish language

Cornish is a language spoken in the Duchy of Cornwall in far southwest England. In 1777 Cornish was considered to be extinct, but there are ongoing efforts to revive the language and at the present time there are a few young first-language Cornish speakers. Religious services are conducted in Cornish and there are classes and study groups in the language. •See also Languages of the British Isles and Ireland. Ref: Ethnologue, Wikipedia
